The Young Storytellers Foundation loves Brittany Ross….and so do we.  “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” co-star and television regular on “The Middle”, gives back to her craft as a mentor for the group.

 The Young Storytellers Foundation develops literacy through the art of storytelling.

Using group exercises and one-on-one mentoring, we provide underserved children in the public school system an opportunity to write stories and see them brought to life through performance

Why do you mentor? Seeing kids light up when they realize their own personal ideas can create something awesome.

What was the last script you mentored? What was it about? “Attack of the Barbie”  The lesson was for girl and boy toys to both find their place in the world, and work together.

Is there a moment that stands out to you in your experience as a mentor?  When the children are cracking up as they see their story being acted.  The sense of pride they have is written all over their face.
